Jobs and computers

At the first day of this week, 13th day, my summer job started.
I work as a guide of one church that is from 1600 century.
It's quite pleasant and leisurely work, since there comes visitors pretty seldom and I don't have to do anything else instead of guiding visitors, so I have lot of free-time for my personal stuff like reading One Piece, other books, drawing and thinking.. but in the other hand it's pretty stressful and uncomfortable also.
I mean, the benches are making my neck hurt and I have to be on cold all the time so I'm usually freezing there. Church is really pretty tho! Its walls and roof are painted full of detailed flower and fruit ornament and stuff like that

Picture of the church.
(not my picture)

I'm also going through the one very significant thing of my life. Changing computer. It maybe doesn't sound very significant, but I want you to notice that I've used the same computer 6 years. It's very dear to me and I wouldn't abandon it. It has been a really good companion to me and very big help and I feel no other computer could replace it. Anyway, since it's so old, it started to show signs of death a year ago. My high schools greatest nerd came to see it and after 4 hours check out and tying to fix it he said: "Computers are like dogs. And I'm like a vet who says that there's nothing I can do. I recommend you to by a new one."
I was kinda confused but expecting it, but I rejected his advice and continued working with my dear old computer (which name is Puppeli, btw.)

Puppeli

Dying of it, I can blame Windows 10. When it automatically updated itself to Windows 10, it's graphics card overloaded and its voice card broke down. Not to mention that its battery was broken already. Soon after me and my dad started to look after a new computer. We are both such a fellows who doesn't bargain of good quality, so the computer ended up to cost over 1500 €.
It's the most awesome computer I've ever seen and I'm proud that it's mine~
I named it "Space Cooler" because it has 3 terabytes hard disk and Cooler master case.

Space Cooler, my new computer.

When the new computer came, it was the best timing of all, because
two days after that, Puppeli died. Yes, it died literally! No signs of that anything is working anymore.
It was a sad moment to me. It has attended me so well that even Space Cooler cannot replace it.
Fortunately I have all my stuff in external hard disk, so I didn't loose my documents.

Right now is my very first day of my week vacation from my summer job and I'm so released and I feel great! I'm drawing right now and got my first Kiriban picture ready ^^.
It's very odd that I got two Kiriban winners but they're both so nice friends to me that I draw the both anyway. :)
Marty's kiriban prize as unfinished.
The ready one is in my gallery on DA.

I have also drawn some other stuff:
I haven't time to color correct this, but try to find out the drawing xD
Here's one of doodles of Sokko as 21 years old.

I drew paper sketch of this in the church. There's Eruna and Kaura hugging each other.

Homedays

Yess!! Now my summer vacation has truly begun! I mean, my parents are working and I can have finally peaceful mornings to 16:00 o'clock. I love it! I can draw my comic pages and other drawings and also write the script so much. Now when I have moved back to home it's really wonderful to work on my old workstation again.

Here is my workstation where I spend the most of my time.
It's disheveled but I just like it that way.

Presently I'm working on reference of Sokko's looks from her specific ages,
7 years old, 9 years old, 15 years old, 19 years old (current) and 21 years old (after timeskip)

Yesterday my sisterfinished her super awesome
Jellie picture that can be seen in deviantart right now. Here's a picture how it looked after she finished it

Rest of the day Karolina was doing her commission work for our aunt to
paint two signs to the roadside where reads 'Traditional bread' ('Perinne leipää' in Finnish)
Our aunt cells home-made traditional bread. She'll soon be Karoliina's boss in her summer job
as a café owner since the café will be in her apartment.

Karoliina was doing hard work so long so I decided to get her some tea (also to price for that awesome Jellie she drew). I had to go to ask her how many spoons of sugar she'd take where she answered two.
Well, I noticed that there was only little sugar at the bottom of the jar so I poured it all in her cup.
I shouldn't have done that, because after her first taste it was so sweet that it wasn't drinkable~
I was so dumb...

The grey mug with picture of Stinky (Moomin) is for Karoliina.

There's our great lion hunting in his dreams.

Forest outing

Yesterday me, my sister Karoliina and my cousin Elena went on a forest outing hosted by church. It was prearranged day before. We were also supposed to go to swim since water was very warm but yesterday north wind had cooled down our lake water.
After eating we headed to the stern forests of our village where the friendly priest of our church and bunch of old and middle-aged parishioners were waiting for us. When we arrived, our priest shook hands with us and bit after the journey started. The group walked in a line along a narrow and meandering forest path and we (being left behind up the near) started taking photos of the beautiful nature surrounding us.

After long long journey we finally stopped at the foot of wooden cross.
It was really high, up on the hill and we were able to see ocean since it was headland where we were.
It was time of eating lunch but we were just too excited so we ventured and frolicked down at the coast.
The place was so beautiful that we started planning
to go there another day with tent.

Rest of the journey the forest was also very pretty so we continued taking photos.

There are my cousin Elena(left) and my sister Karoliina(right). They are also known as Eruna and Kaura, my closest fellows on DA and in real life.

It was 21:30 when we ended the journey. It was long but refreshing day!
Hope we will have time to go there again.
And that time we sure take a tent along!

All of these pictures was taken with my smart phone. Indeed I'll take a proper camera with me the next time too ;D

Text number first

Hello! Sokko's here, the 19-years-old girl from Finland actually.
If you don't know me already, I am one silly artist girl who mainly publishes her stuff in her DeviantART Profile. As you can see there, I am currently focused in One Piece related art, precisely on my One Piece own character, Sokko, thus my name has become Sokko.
My real name uses to be Sonja, though.
Here's Sokko, my One Piece OC (own character) She has become my alter ego.
Drawing belongs to Kaura.

My own picture. Here I'm obviously drawing as usual.
So now my summer vacation has started and I decided to make this blog to make it special. I am a student of film making and my teacher gave me this homework to take as many photos I can, so this will be partly a photo gallery of this summer. Also as a high school student my English skills need to be better (especially writing skills) so why not improve them with this blog. I will also put here some drawings and sketches I've made that you can't all see in DA.
I hope you stay tuned about this blog, since I will get more motivation to write if there's someone who reads it too, but If you are not interested, that's alright too! This blog isn't written just for to be read so I will write it anyway! :)

Writing it anyway~!
I end this article with my latest drawing that I drew last Friday night:
This character is Handersim. He is Sokko's friend and one of my other OP OCs. I've not introduced him properly on DA but that day will come eventually.
